Conscious Sedation

Oral Sedation

Many people experience anxiety about visiting the dentist. Sedation dentistry is when a trained dentist provides a relaxing environment for dental procedures using common sedatives. The benefit for the patient is that very little if any apprehension or discomfort comes from the visit, a long procedure can sometimes feel like just a few minutes, and sometimes several procedures can be done at once.

Unfortunately, people who have a lot of anxiety about visiting the dentist and haven’t looked into oral sedation options, can experience oral health problems to the extent large procedures may now be necessary. If you have anxiety about dental visits, don’t let it keep you from getting the oral care you need. Nervousness and apprehension are common. Just ask what options we can provide you for oral sedation and to make your visit easier.

Bridge Visit

Let me first say that i hate the chair with a "PASSION"! After my visit with Dr. Barker and his team i felt somewhat comfortable. After my second visit I thought" I may be able to do this". After having two teeth pulled and a bridge put in, I feel like I can do anything... This definitely was my most satisfying time in the chair in my entire life. Thanks to you and your team Dr. Barker! - Craig Abne
